Some parents sigh when they get a few birthday party invitations for their kids, but not me. I’m a huge fan of birthday parties. Probably because I love cake, I love that my kids run around and get tired, someone else feeds them, and then I get cake. Can you tell that I’m a fan of cake? I tend to go big for my kids parties. This looks really cool. My niece was after me to get her Bratz dolls forever, and that WAS NOT happening. This is much more acceptable to me. It’s like a cute little combination of edgy and adorable.

I love parties too! I almost stopped doing them though. People got to where they either didn’t come or you could tell they didn’t really want to be there. We don’t live near family though and we homeschool so there are challenges there. I am planning my daughter’s 10th birthday right now.
