Long before our kids burst onto the scene,there was another lady that ruled the roost. Nine years ago, my husband and I walked up and down the aisles of  the local animal shelter searching for the perfect dog. Not too big, not too small, and preferably one that wouldn’t eat my shoes. When we reached the very last kennel, there she was. A quiet puppy with big, bright eyes. I just knew this dog was the one, and that she would never eat my shoes. I got the whole she was our dog part right , but not so much with shoes will be safe around this pup. Chewed up sneakers and high heels aside, we are completely in love with our dog Suggie. Even though she isn’t a puppy anymore, our gal still has a lot of pep in her step, but our vet told us that because she is a senior citizen mature dog, she needs food that is created especially for dogs her age. Just like magic, Amazon Prime ensured that in just two days, a box was delivered to our door and Suggie was thrilled that something was finally for her!  Of course, she needs to inspect all packages before they can enter our home. She takes her guard dog duties very seriously.

  2. Our dog, Milo, loves Purina. When we rescued him, that is what they sent him with from the shelter & that is what we continued to give him!

  15. What a fresh pup you have! Love the picture with the tongue out and eyes closed. Our pup doesn’t like Purina – for that matter, she don’t like much of anything. Our cats though – they love Purina.

  16. My dog is super picky so we never switch out his food but I’m happy to see that this worked out well for your own dog.

  18. Suggie is a cutie. Glad to see he is liking his Purina – and hoping he leaves those boots alone. I am so lucky Kingers never chews anything other than his toys.

  23. I LOVE Amazon Prime! I don’t think I could live without it, seriously! I will have to share this with my mom who owns an older dog. She’s been looking to switch from his current brand of pet food.
