I’m always grateful to be on Fox 5 DC, and this segment covered such an important topic. We covered something that affects so many of us—parental stress and overwhelm. With the U.S. Surgeon General sounding the alarm on “parents under pressure,” it’s clear that the daily stress we face is reaching a breaking point. Nearly half of parents report feeling completely overwhelmed, and it was eye-opening to discuss this with fellow mom Deborah Porter. We talked about what needs to change to help parents like us reclaim some calm and sanity in our lives. Plus I was able to sneak in a Taylor Swift lyric–so always a win, right?
