Dancing on the Today Show
The other morning I was snuggled up on the couch with my main man. I was sipping my coffee and he was sipping his chocolate milk. We were, of course, watching the TODAY show when he let out the loudest SQUEALLLLLLLLL. I may be a little hard of hearing from it–however, it was justified because he was on TV just dancing away to the latest Pharrell Williams song There’s Something Special.
Now the kids have been on TV with me a lot, and usually they steal the show, but this time was extra sweet and special. You have to check out the song because it is just lovely and the perfect little jam to slow dance with your babies. So check out the video and I dare you NOT to tear up when you hear the song. Lyla got in a few extra twirls and spins-because how else do you dance without out twirls and spins, and Aaron and I did a little slow jam dancing. These two have some sweet moves.
A big thank you to the Today Show for asking us to bust a move for this awesome video. And go see the Despicable Me 3— you will LOVE it like we did.

Wanting “stuff” is a natural reaction for kids, but as parents, it’s our job to guide and teach our children the value of a dollar, earning that dollar, and saving that dollar.
I’m thrilled to be included in this article for US News and World Report about ways you can raise financially savvy kids at every age.
